Summary

The Project Manager builds strong relationships with customers and stakeholders, earning trust through collaboration and consistent results. In this role, they serve as a valued contributor and leader who brings clarity and alignment to cross-functional work.

This position manages projects of moderate scope, complexity, and financial impact for our custom designed Air Handler Units. The Project Manager is expected to work with appropriate autonomy while ensuring decisions and actions remain aligned with project requirements and organizational expectations. This role serves as the progression step between Sales, Engineering, and Production control and Manufacturing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other Duties May Be Assigned)

  • Responsible for the on-time delivery of projects and maximizing customer satisfaction.
  • Develop detailed project plans and schedule, managing workflow of projects.
  • Develop strong, trust-based relationships with customers by maintaining open communication, understanding their needs, and delivering on commitments.
  • Monitor progress, track milestones, and adjust plans as needed.
  • Coordinate cross-functional contributions and ensure accountability across teams.
  • Build commitment through collaboration, engaging stakeholders early and fostering shared ownership of deliverables.
  • Navigate moderate levels of ambiguity, aligning diverse perspectives toward common outcomes.
  • Identify project risks, dependencies, and issues; create mitigation plans and escalate when necessary.
  • Evaluate and manage scope changes through the change order processes.
  • Foster a collaborative environment that encourages open communication and problem resolution.
  • Ensures quality reviews of deliverables, documentation, and processes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve project workflows, efficiency, and predictability.
  • Lead resolution of product or manufacturing issues by leveraging technical understanding, coordinating cross-functional teams, and developing creative solutions to keep projects on schedule.
  • Provide clear, timely updates to customers and internal stakeholders, supporting alignment and informed decision-making.


Education and Experience Requirements

  • Custom Air Handler Project Manager experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or a minimum of 3 years of related industry experience in a technical or manufacturing environment.
  • Project management experience preferred, with demonstrated ability to apply standard project management processes, tools, and methodologies.
  • Experience working directly with customers in a project-based environment, demonstrating strong customer service orientation and relationship-building skills.
  • Manufacturing environment experience preferred, particularly in roles involving procurement, engineering, operations, or customer service.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical plans, schedules, technical drawings, and contract specifications.

Physical Demands

Move, transport and handle equipment as necessary at tradeshows, lab testing or for presentations. Ability to carry luggage for travel.
