Senior Project Manager

Electro-Mechanical Manufacturing & Supply Chain

On-site in Phoenix, AZ

Target salary: $70,000 - $130,000

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager - Electro-Mechanical Manufacturing & Supply Chain to lead complex manufacturing projects supporting the design, production, and delivery of integrated electro-mechanical systems. This role partners with engineering, operations, supply chain, and customers to manage project execution, cost estimating, ERP-driven planning, contract reviews, production schedules, and customer deliverables within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead complex electro-mechanical manufacturing projects from customer requirements through production and delivery.
  • Partner with customers and internal stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, schedules, and deliverables.
  • Review engineering documentation and identify gaps to support accurate quoting and successful project launches.
  • Organize and manage customer technical data packages for quoting, planning, and production readiness.
  • Coordinate with supply chain and materials teams to develop material and labor cost estimates for customer proposals.
  • Prepare accurate project quotations and negotiate pricing, schedules, and deliverables with customers.
  • Serve as the primary customer interface throughout project execution while representing customer requirements internally.
  • Monitor project milestones, schedules, and production activities to ensure customer commitments are achieved.
  • Expedite manufacturing operations and adjust schedules to address changing priorities or production constraints.
  • Define inventory planning parameters, including minimum order quantities, reorder points, and stocking levels.
  • Monitor material availability and communicate shortages impacting production schedules.
  • Participate in production meetings to resolve scheduling, supply chain, and manufacturing issues affecting project timelines.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for assigned projects, providing guidance to customers and cross-functional teams.
  • Review purchase orders and contracts to verify customer requirements are accurately captured and communicated.
  • Participate in weekly contract review meetings and support continuous project execution improvements.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5+ years of project management experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience managing complex electro-mechanical manufacturing projects from quotation through production.
  • Experience reviewing engineering documentation, customer technical packages, and manufacturing requirements.
  • Strong experience with project planning, scheduling, cost estimating, and customer relationship management.
  • Experience coordinating engineering, manufacturing, operations, purchasing, and supply chain teams.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems; Global Shop ERP experience is a plus.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and Macros.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Power BI, and Smartsheet.
  • Experience reviewing purchase orders, contracts, and technical documentation.
  • Knowledge of inventory planning, procurement processes, material management, and production scheduling.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% as required.
