The Project Manager will provide overall coordination and oversight of the contractor team while supporting integration of Activity Management Plans (AMPs), Sustainment Management System (SMS) data, project prioritization, preventive maintenance planning, and Civil Engineering project programming. This position will serve as the primary contractor liaison to squadron stakeholders and help ensure contract deliverables are accurate, timely, and integrated across disciplines.
What You'll Do:- Manage, direct, and evaluate contractor personnel and coordinate work across engineers, craftsmen, GIS technicians, planners, analysts, and other team members.
- Oversee QA/QC and schedule performance for contractor deliverables and support preparation of monthly contract status reporting.
- Synchronize Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical AMP/Sub-AMP outputs into an integrated base-wide infrastructure investment strategy.
- Support validation, scoring, and prioritization of infrastructure requirements and preparation for Work Request Review Board (WRRB) decisions.
- Oversee development and optimization of preventive maintenance activities using Sustainment Management System data.
- Coordinate with Squadron Leadership and Civil Engineering flights on budget execution, project programming, DD Form 1391 development, and overall asset-management status.
What You Bring:Required:
- Demonstrated experience managing engineering, construction, facilities, infrastructure, or capital improvement programs.
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, manage schedules and deliverables, and coordinate multiple project requirements and stakeholders.
- Experience with project prioritization, quality control, risk management, and status reporting.
- Must be able to successfully complete the required Tier 1 background investigation and obtain/maintain a Common Access Card (CAC).
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management or equivalent from an accredited institution within the United States required.
- Minimum 5 years of project experience, including at least 3 years of military facility/infrastructure experience.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with Air Force Civil Engineering processes and systems such as NexGen IT/TRIRIGA, SMS platforms, or similar project-management tools.
