Project Manager

Role Overview

Responsible for managing and executing New Generation Services (NGS) projects from concept through close-out. This role ensures projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contractual requirements while leading cross-functional teams and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships. The position also leads efforts, collaborates with leadership, and provides strategic oversight to ensure efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned projects or serve as Deputy Project Manager, overseeing project teams and delivering outcomes aligned with contract, schedule, and budget requirements.
  • Develop project plans, integrated schedules, cost baselines, and performance tracking while monitoring progress and implementing recovery plans as needed.
  • Lead risk, issue, and opportunity identification, supporting mitigation strategies and continuous improvement through lessons learned.
  • Coordinate communication with stakeholders including customers, leadership, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure alignment and project transparency.
  • Manage change orders, contract scope adjustments, and execution strategies while controlling project scope, cost, and schedule through formal processes.
  • Oversee project execution activities including procurement coordination, invoice review, subcontractor management, and project close-out documentation.


Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Engineeringdiscipline or technical diploma from college or university and 4-6 Years extensive direct experience managing large power generation or EPC projects is required. PMP certification is preferred but not required.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles including cost control, scheduling, risk management, and contract administration
  • Effective communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities with proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Minimal travel May be required - potential to visit project sites involving domestic travel for up to 20% of the assigned work year.
