Responsibilities

  • Identify manpower needs and manage overall project logistics
  • Collaborate with the Estimating team on project scope
  • Ensure project budgets are met through communication with Foremen and Superintendents
  • Maintain and update project schedules
  • Create and manage project budgets, billings, and change orders
  • Generate Requests for Information (RFIs)
  • Forecast project costs in conjunction with JRT's finance team
  • Provide direction to Project Manager Assistants

Job Description:

JRT Mechanical is hiring a Project Manager for it's Construction Division. The right candidate will have great communication and interpersonal skills. This position also requires someone who is self motivated and enjoys working in a fast paced environment. In this role, time management and organizational skills are a necessity. If you are looking for a great team to be a part, this may be just the place for you. Our Construction Division manages a variety of large new projects and retrofits. We work in strictly commercial and industrial environments and manage a large variety of projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Identifies manpower needs, procures material and equipment and manages the overall project
  • Collaborate with the Estimating team on the Project Scope
  • Communicate with the Foremen and Superintendents to ensure the project budgets are being met
  • Maintain project schedules
  • Create and manage project budgets, billings and change orders
  • Generates RFIs.
  • Forecasts overall project costs with JRT's finance team
  • Provide direction to Project Manager Assistant(s)

Required Skills:
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Exposure to Bluebeam a plus
  • Strong organization skills
  • Ability to delegate responsibilities to other team members
  • Knowledgeable with Mechanical and Plumbing Sytems

Pay: $40 to $55 per hour DOE
