Responsibilities

  • Create detailed Project Contract status reports
  • Coordinate with Project Superintendent to establish a project site logistics plan
  • Understand and manage the McCarthy/Owner contract thoroughly
  • Oversee and streamline the pay request process
  • Monitor project costs through Job Cost Reports
  • Analyze and forecast quarterly Total Cost Projection reports
  • Conduct training and development for all staff personnel
  • Monitor project labor and resource utilization
  • Review and approve material, forming system, and equipment needs
  • Assist Estimating with project bids
  • Implement and oversee Safety, EEO, and Affirmative Action programs
  • Lead the project's quality assurance processes
  • Schedule and manage project close-out procedures
  • Cultivate strong relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and owners to embody McCarthy's core values
  • Implement all relevant safety programs and EEO/Affirmative Action initiatives.

Full Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY

The Project Manager is the primary leader in the field, and is directly accountable for the safety, financial performance, and team development on site. The Project Manager will lead the project team in the construction of the entire Project. This position is responsible for providing effective leadership to the project staff and ensuring quality and timely completion of the project.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Participate with Business Unit leadership and Preconstruction in development of a Project Chart of Accounts
  • Develop detailed Project Contract status report
  • Coordinate with Project Superintendent in development of a project site logistics plan
  • Maintain thorough understanding of the McCarthy/Owner contract
  • Oversee the pay request process
  • Monitor project costs and Job Cost Report
  • Analyze and forecast quarterly Total Cost Projection reports
