SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

Project Manager for heavylift and transport projects

Salary Range- $90,000 - $130,000

Working at Puslinch, On

The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating complex heavy lifting and transport projects, ensuring safety, quality, and client satisfaction from initiation through to completion. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, as well as a deep understanding of project management principles within the industrial and heavy lifting sectors.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Lead project planning, scheduling, and execution for heavy lifting and transport operations.
  • Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful delivery within scope and client expectations.
  • Coordinate with clients, internal teams, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and deliverables.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
  • Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and clients.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project team members.
  • Support the continuous improvement of project management processes and tools.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience, preferably in the heavy lifting, construction, or industrial sectors.
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification is an asset.
  • Strong understanding of safety standards and regulations relevant to heavy lifting and transport operations.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with project management software and MS Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel and work at various project sites as required.
