Project Manager (Land Development) We are partnering with a leading homebuilder in Florida to find a driven Assistant Project Manager for their Land Development Department. This role offers hands-on exposure to large-scale residential community development and entitlement processes across multiple Florida markets - a great opportunity to grow into senior leadership! KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Assist with permitting and development projects, including coordination with consultants, contractors, and local governments Support the creation and tracking of project budgets, schedules, and feasibility analyses Solicit, review, and evaluate bids and proposals from consultants and contractors Monitor project schedules, milestones, and goals Participate in Architecture Review Board (ARB) meetings to align planning, construction, and aesthetic objectives Help identify consultants and assess permitting, entitlement, scheduling, and material risks Support oversight of the permitting and entitlement process, including attending key meetings with officials Assist with construction bid, award, and contractor selection processes Attend construction meetings and visit job sites to evaluate progress Manage invoices and track project expenses Represent the client on HOA and Community Development District (CDD) Boards as needed MUST-HAVE SKILLS 3-5 years of real estate land development experience, including 2+ years in project management, real estate transactions, architecture/engineering, or infrastructure construction management Ability to read, analyze, and interpret architectural and engineering plans Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to work cross-functionally Commitment, tenacity, and accountability to deliver projects on time and within budget Willingness to travel to job sites Quick learner with a desire to grow into increased leadership responsibilities
