Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead land and site development projects across Northeast Florida. This role will manage a diverse portfolio of public and private sector projects, including residential, commercial, and municipal developments.

The ideal candidate brings strong technical ex

pertise, client relationship skills, and the ability to successfully lead multidisciplinary teams from concept through construction.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Delivery
  • Manage land and site development projects from planning and design through permitting and construction
  • Develop and monitor project budgets, schedules, and work plans
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards
  • Coordinate internal design teams, including civil engineering, permitting, and support staff

Client & Stakeholder Management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, municipalities, and agencies
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with public agencies, developers, and stakeholders
  • Lead client meetings, presentations, and project updates

Technical Oversight
  • Oversee preparation of site design plans, including grading, drainage, utilities, and stormwater management systems
  • Ensure compliance with local, state (FDOT, SJRWMD, FDEP), and municipal regulations
  • Review engineering plans, reports, and calculations for accuracy and completeness

Permitting & Regulatory Coordination
  • Manage entitlement and permitting processes with local jurisdictions
  • Coordinate approvals with agencies such as counties, cities, and water management districts
  • Stay current on Northeast Florida development regulations and codes

Team Leadership & Mentorship
  • Lead, mentor, and develop junior engineers and project staff
  • Support team utilization, staffing, and workload balancing
  • Foster a collaborative and accountable team environment

Business Development (as applicable)

Support proposal development, scope definition, and fee estimates

Participate in networking and client development efforts within the region

Requirements
