Project Manager to join our team at K&A Power Group in

Role Expectations: - Serve as the primary liaison between the Owner, utilities, EPC contractors, and internal/external stakeholders
- Represent the Owner in meetings with utilities, contractors, and regulatory authorities
- Own utility relationships and drive the interconnection process, including applications, data requests, and coordination
- Lead weekly project meetings and provide detailed updates, reports, and action tracking
- Develop and maintain project schedules, tracking key milestones and deliverables
- Produce weekly status updates, risk summaries, and monthly executive reports
- Maintain issue logs, risk registers, and corrective action plans
- Monitor change control processes and ensure alignment with project objectives
- Review and coordinate design packages at all phases (30%, 60%, 90%, IFC)
- Ensure alignment between utility HV infrastructure, EPC designs, and data center MV systems
- Review equipment submittals, long-lead items, RFIs, and technical documentation
- Identify design risks and provide recommendations to protect project outcomes
- Oversee utility interconnection applications and permitting packages
- Coordinate with jurisdictional authorities to secure approvals and consents
- Track progress of all regulatory submissions and ensure compliance with local requirements
- Monitor EPC contractor performance, schedules, and construction progress
- Review construction plans, safety programs, and logistics strategies
- Conduct site visits and inspections; provide progress reporting
- Review and approve construction submittals, change orders, and contractor deliverables
- Oversee commissioning, energization, and handover of HV infrastructure
- Ensure completion of all owner checklists and turnover documentation
- Review as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and final deliverables
- Support final project sign-off and closeout
What we're looking for: Required - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 8+ years of experience in power infrastructure, substations, or utility-scale projects
- Experience managing EPC contractors and large, complex construction projects
- Strong understanding of utility interconnection processes and permitting
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive project outcomes
Preferred - Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Experience with data center infrastructure
- Background in high-voltage substation design and construction
- Familiarity with project controls, scheduling tools, and reporting systems
Pay Range $120,000-180,000/year
