Full Job Description
What this job involves:

We are seeking a Project Manager to serve as the central coordination point for complex, cross-functional initiatives supporting the Business Management Office's (BMO) operational readiness and change management functions. Reporting to the BMO Process Excellence Manager, you will work closely with the product owner and operational readiness and change management leaders to own integrated project plans across multiple workstreams, manage cross-functional dependencies and downstream impacts, drive accountability for deliverable owners, and maintain visibility through consolidated status reporting and RAAIDD management. While this role does not own technical delivery, it requires genuine comfort with technology, an interest in emerging tools including AI, and the ability to understand the platforms and systems being implemented well enough to anticipate risks and manage dependencies effectively. The role requires strong facilitation skills, proactive risk identification, and the confidence to hold teams accountable. The ideal candidate is agile and flexible, comfortable operating in ambiguity, and brings a learning mindset-someone who takes detailed notes, asks the right questions, and builds deep understanding of the projects they support. You'll ensure the successful coordination and delivery of programs by maintaining alignment across workstreams, supporting stakeholder communications, coordinating UAT activities, surfacing gaps and risks early, and providing senior leadership with clear, actionable reporting. This role offers significant exposure to cross-functional program delivery and serves as a strong foundation for a career in strategic program management and business operations.

What your day-to-day will look like:
  • Own and maintain the integrated, non-technical project plan encompassing all workstreams, milestones, and deliverables while developing and managing the master project timeline to ensure alignment between operational readiness, change management, and product & engineering launch support activities
  • Track progress against milestones and proactively flag deviations, risks, or resource constraints while facilitating release planning sessions that ensure alignment on timelines, scope, and dependencies across all workstreams
  • Manage critical path activities and ensure sequencing of dependent deliverables (e.g., product & engineering feature completion → SOPs → training delivery) while coordinating go/no-go decision preparation with compiled readiness data from all workstreams
  • Serve as the single coordination point across product & engineering, operational readiness, and change management workstreams by maintaining dependency tracking and facilitating resolution across workstreams
  • Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts and resource constraints proactively while maintaining a decision log with follow-up tracking and facilitating cross-workstream alignment sessions with clear outcomes on timeline, scope, and dependency resolution
  • Conduct gap reviews with workstream leads to systematically identify what's missing, at risk, or blocked, and maintain centralized tracking showing owners, status, dependencies, timelines, and blockers for all deliverables
  • Develop mitigation plans when gaps are identified and drive them to resolution while proactively identifying emerging gaps before they become critical path issues
  • Provide bi-weekly consolidated status reports to senior leadership showing deliverable health, cross-workstream gaps, and needed escalations while developing and maintaining dashboard/reporting infrastructure providing real-time visibility into progress against milestones
  • Coordinate operational readiness activities including data collection (service matrices, system metadata, workflow documentation), track internal service delivery training material development and coordinate delivery, coordinate SOP strategy and delivery aligned to releases, manage FAQ development and content approval processes, and schedule and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) across customers, service delivery partners, and internal teams
  • Support product & engineering launch activities by coordinating launch UAT testing logistics across all releases, facilitating defect triage coordination and severity assessment processes, coordinating launch day activities and issue escalation management, and tracking production environment cutover planning and execution
  • Maintain and actively manage the RAAIDD log (Risks, Assumptions, Actions, Issues, Dependencies, and Decisions) across all workstreams and releases, facilitate regular RAAIDD reviews with workstream leads to ensure timely identification, escalation, and resolution, and track dependency chains to proactively surface blockers
  • Support change management activities by tracking communication and engagement strategy delivery coordination, managing feedback collection mechanisms, coordinating participant engagement and readiness assessments, and supporting change impact analysis documentation and distribution.

Required Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience in project/program management for complex, cross-functional initiatives with proven success in coordinating multiple stakeholders
  • Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams with interdependent deliverables and competing timelines in dynamic environments
  • Experience with phased launch/rollout programs, ideally supporting technology platform implementations or enterprise system deployments
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence without direct authority and build credibility across diverse teams
  • Excellent facilitation skills for cross-functional alignment sessions and decision-making forums with ability to drive meetings to actionable outcomes
  • Experience developing and maintaining integrated project plans, dependency maps, and critical path analyses with strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in proactive risk identification, gap analysis, and mitigation planning with demonstrated ability to surface issues early
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level status reporting with ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable summaries
  • Demonstrated comfort with technology platforms, data dashboards, and emerging tools (e.g., AI-assisted workflows) with ability to quickly learn new systems and business contexts
  • Track record of driving accountability across teams and deliverable owners without direct authority through relationship-building and consistent follow-through.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification demonstrating formal project management training and methodology expertise
  • Experience supporting technology platform launches within large-scale enterprise environments with multiple concurrent workstreams
  • Familiarity with change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR) and operational readiness frameworks
  • Experience coordinating across technical and non-technical teams where product & engineering operates independently (e.g., Agile/Scrum environments)
  • Background in event management or travel and meetings programs providing relevant business domain context
  • Experience with project management and collaboration tools such as Asana, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain dashboards and reporting infrastructure that provides executive-level visibility.
