Full Job Description
Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Project Manager.

In this role, the successful candidate leads and delivers complex projects within Hospital Billing and Outpatient Revenue Cycle Operations, from planning through implementation. Drives process and technology improvements to enhance efficiency, throughput, and revenue performance. Collaborates across RCO teams and leadership to execute initiatives that support operational strategies and key performance goals across the network.
  • Leads the full project lifecycle, initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, ensuring milestones, deliverables, and timelines are met.
  • Defines project scope, goals, success metrics, and resource needs in collaboration with leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Develops detailed project plans, risk assessments, and communication strategies to maintain visibility and alignment across stakeholders.
  • Tracks project progress, prepares executive summaries, and reports status updates and key metrics to leadership.
  • Collaborates with leadership to identify areas of focus, and work to implement new initiatives and best practices.
  • Drives process improvement initiatives by identifying operational inefficiencies and implementing standardized workflows and technology solutions.
  • Supports vendor management by coordinating contracts, deliverables, and performance evaluations to ensure compliance and value realization.
  • Partners with leadership to develop policies, procedures, and documentation supporting operational consistency and scalability.
  • Maintains data accuracy and reporting integrity through effective documentation, performance dashboards, and knowledge management tools.
  • Promotes project management best practices, collaboration, accountability, and adherence to NYU Langone policies, including HIPAA compliance.
  • Performs other related duties or strategic assignments as needed.


  • Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Finance, Business Management or related field. Minimum of five years experience in Finance or related field required. Healthcare experience preferred. Ability to manage, coordinate and facilitated project development process. Strong analytical skills, ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, problem solving and critical thinking skills. Proficient in the use of MS Office, including: Word, Excel, and Outlook. Effective oral, written, communication, interpersonal and presentation skills required.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $84,577.93-$120,393 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
