Full Job Description
Job Summary:

Adventist Health Roseville is seeking a qualified and dedicated Epic and Third-Party Applications Project Manager for a full-time role with 8-hour day shifts. This position is fully remote.

This role serves as the primary liaison between business owners, vendors, and application teams to manage clinical and imaging related projects.

Oversees and manages project timelines, deliverables, coordination of project team members and executes work plans of information technology (IT) projects. Acts as liaison between all stakeholders. Interacts regularly with existing department leads to determine their needs and to develop plans for improving delivery. Presents oral and written reports defining plans, Gantt charts, risk assessments, problems and resolutions to the appropriate levels of management. Incorporates user-stated requirements into technical requirements and communicates technical information to non-technical audiences. Administers projects according to approved plans, specifications, and scopes of work in accordance with defined requirements. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned personnel using both professional and supervisory discretion and independent judgment.

Essential Functions:
  • Creates and manages project plans for installation of hardware and applications, upgrades, or conversions. Utilizes standardized project planning tools with IT standards to ensure project schedule, status report and other project artifacts are maintained accurately and kept current. Delegates tasks while ensuring deadlines and deliverables are still met.
  • Ensures adherence to IT policies and procedures including change management. Analyzes and manages all project scope changes through appropriate approval processes.
  • Conducts project and team meetings, appropriately tracking action items, risks, and decisions. Manages tasks and timelines and schedules implementation resources. Records and manages all outstanding issues and project risks. Creates, manages, and tracks simple project budgets, including understanding project ROI. Directs and manages outside vendors, contractors, and suppliers in support of project.
  • Creates stakeholder registers, communication schedules, risk plans, support matrixes, and other standard project management artifacts. Ensures testing of technology, processes and changes, etc., are conducted as part of the project. Follows up on outstanding issues post-implementation of a project.
  • Provides timely status and progress of projects to stakeholders. Delivers presentations to present project updates and facilitate decisions. Works with the education teams to develop and provide training resources.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
