The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced ICT / Low Voltage & Controls Project Manager to lead the delivery of network infrastructure, structured cabling, monitoring systems, and controls integration on hyperscale and mission-critical data center construction projects. This role is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of ICT, low-voltage, and controls scopes, from design coordination and installation planning through commissioning and final turnover. These systems form the operational backbone of the facility, supporting building management systems, electrical monitoring, network infrastructure, and operational telemetry.

What you will do?
  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee construction projects from pre-constructions to final handover.
  • Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and resource plans.
  • Manage project teams including site managers, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and legal requirements.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement migration strategies.
  • Control project costs and manager changes to project scope or schedule.
  • Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Facilitate effective communication between all project stakeholders.
  • Resolve issues and conflicts that arise during the construction process.
  • Conduct project closeout procedures and ensure client satisfaction.

Project Delivery
  • Manage execution of ICT, Low Voltage, and Controls infrastructure across hyperscale data center builds.
  • Lead delivery of structured cabling systems (fiber and copper), pathways, cable management, network cabinets, and monitoring infrastructure.
  • Coordinate installation of controls interfaces supporting BMS, EPMS, and equipment telemetry.
  • Develop and manage ICT/Controls schedules aligned with electrical energization, mechanical startup, and commissioning milestones.
  • Coordinate closely with GC leadership, electrical contractors, mechanical trades, commissioning agents, and controls integrators.

Controls Integration
  • Manage installation readiness for PLC interfaces, control panels, sensors, monitoring equipment, and communication gateways.
  • Coordinate integration between network infrastructure and facility controls platforms.
  • Work with controls vendors and system integrators to ensure proper interface between field devices and monitoring systems.
  • Support troubleshooting and resolution of controls communication and integration issues during commissioning.

Scope & Risk Management
  • Identify and resolve design gaps, scope conflicts, and cross-trade interface risks.
  • Issue and manage RFIs related to ICT, monitoring, and controls integration.
  • Maintain strict control of scope boundaries and change management.
  • Prevent commissioning delays by ensuring systems are installation-ready before vendor mobilization.

Vendor & Quality Management
  • Manage low voltage subcontractors, controls integrators, and specialty vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, owner standards, NEC, TIA, and BICSI guidelines.
  • Verify testing results, labeling standards, and documentation accuracy.
  • Maintain strict quality standards in uptime-sensitive environments.

Commissioning & Turnover
  • Lead ICT and Controls readiness for commissioning.
  • Coordinate testing activities with commissioning teams and equipment vendors.
  • Ensure completion of as-built documentation, labeling records, and turnover packages.
  • Support issue resolution through final commissioning and project closeout

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field; will consider minimum of 5 years practical experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional construction experience
  • GC experience required, green field experience preferred
  • Three or more years of Project Management experience in commercial construction practices and procedures. Industrial construction preferred, not required
  • Strong working knowledge of construction methodologies, CSI building codes, and industry best practices
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, MS Project preferred but not required), BlueBeam, Revit, Design Reviewer, and Adobe Professional
  • Construction Management software use experience with ProCore is required, familiarity with P6 scheduling software, Microsoft Project are preferred but not required (i.e.: document control and schedule software, etc.)
