Job Title:Project Manager III - Surgery
Job Summary:Responsible for the coordination and completion of all aspects of project. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project. Approves reports for upper management regarding status of project.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in applicable job-related field and six (6) years of project manager experience or equivalent combination of project manager education/experience.

Responsibilities
- Oversees all aspects, including scope, of project; may lead and direct the work of others.
- Oversees project plans and cost projections and approves revisions as appropriate; oversees the allocation of resources to ensure objectives are met.
- Aligns project activities with organizational objectives; ensures project outcomes equate to organizational success.
- Oversees the development of policies and procedures to meet project requirements.
- Oversees the resolution of problems in order to maintain progress,
- Oversees key activities and ensures accuracy of project documents and reports.

Physical and Environmental Demands
Requires occasional exposure to unpleasant or disagreeable physical environment such as high noise level and exposure to heat and cold, exposure to bio-hazardous conditions such as risk of radiation exposure, blood borne pathogens, fumes or airborne particles, and/or toxic or caustic chemicals which mandate attention to safety considerations, occasional working hours significantly beyond regularly scheduled hours, occasional travelling to offsite locations, occasional activities subject to significant volume changes of a seasonal/clinical nature, frequent work produced subject to precise measures of quantity and quality, occasional bending, occasional lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, occasional climbing, occasional crouching/stooping, occasional driving, occasional kneeling, occasional pushing/pulling, occasional reaching, constant sitting, frequent standing, occasional twisting, and frequent walking.
