The Value Realization and Portfolio Operations Lead is responsible for creating and maintaining the operating system that provides visibility into SEI Next’s priorities, initiatives, outcomes, and business impact. This role owns KPI development, performance reporting, portfolio governance, and value realization, ensuring leadership has clear visibility into what the team is doing, the value it is creating, and where strategic attention is needed. The role also leads select strategic initiatives and oversees key internal engagement programs. The ideal candidate is a hands-on operator who thrives in ambiguity, can create structure, and consistently connects activity to measurable outcomes.

What you will do:

Value Realization Operating System

  • Design and own the SEI Next team performance management framework, including KPI architecture, reporting cadences, and value realization methodologies

  • Establish a clear connection between strategic investments, initiative execution, and measurable business outcomes, providing visibility into both portfolio performance and enterprise impact

  • Develop and maintain executive-level dashboards that translate complex portfolio activity into actionable insights, providing a real-time view of initiatives, dependencies, resource allocation, risks, and value delivered

  • Establish portfolio governance processes that create transparency across initiatives, ensuring progress, decisions, milestones, and outcomes are consistently tracked, measured, and communicated

  • Own and govern the team’s portfolio management tools and processes, ensuring initiative data remains current, visible, and decision-ready

Internal Orchestration

  • Own the execution and continuous improvement of key internal engagement programs, ensuring they deliver against defined objectives and success metrics

  • Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, dependencies, and communications to ensure programs remain aligned to strategic priorities, and deliver measurable outcomes

  • Provide operational oversight of SEIsmic and other enterprise engagement efforts, ensuring activities remain aligned to SEI Next and enterprise priorities and that participation and outcomes are measured and communicated

Strategic Initiatives Execution

  • Lead strategic and operational initiatives, translating ideas and requests into executable plans stakeholder alignment, and measurable outcomes

  • Drive progress across stakeholders, manage dependencies, resolve obstacles, and ensure initiatives are delivered successfully

  • Bring structure, accountability, and operational rigor to initiatives that sit within Strategy & Operations, ensuring successful execution from intake through delivery

What we need from you:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Strategy, or a related field; advanced degree a plus.

  • 8+ years of experience in strategy, operations, program management, portfolio management,  or a related operating role.

  • Demonstrated experience developing KPI frameworks, executive reporting, dashboards, and performance measurement approaches that connect work to business outcomes.

  • Proven ability to translate strategy into execution and establish clear links between initiatives, investments, and measurable results.

  • Experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives and influencing stakeholders without direct authority.

  • Strong operational and analytical skills, with the ability to create structure, prioritize effectively, and drive work forward in ambiguous environments.

  • Experience with portfolio management, reporting, and operating systems

  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable insights for senior leaders.

  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently, exercise sound judgment, and take ownership form intake through delivery.
