Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project. Approves reports for upper management regarding status of project. Education & Experience Education and Experience Required: Bachelor's Degree and five (5) years of experience as a project manager. Certifications, Licenses, or Registration required: N/A Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of field concepts, practices, and procedures. Demonstrated ability to apply extensive experience and sound judgement to planning, problem solving, and goal achievement. Strong leadership skills with the ability to direct the work of others. Ability to exercise a high degree of creativity, initiative, and independent judgement. Responsibilities - Oversees all aspects, including scope, of project; may lead and direct the work of others. - Oversees project plans and cost projections and approves revisions as appropriate; oversees the allocation of resources to ensure objectives are met. - Aligns project activities with organizational objectives; ensures project outcomes equate to organizational success. - Oversees the development of policies and procedures to meet project requirements. - Oversees the resolution of problems in order to maintain progress, - Oversees key activities and ensures accuracy of project documents and reports. - The duties listed are general in nature and are examples of the duties and responsibilities performed and are not meant to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive.
