Project Manager III - Clinical Research

Job Summary:
Responsible for the coordination and completion of all aspects of project. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project. Approves reports for upper management regarding status of project.

Education & Experience

Bachelor's Degree in applicable job-related field and six (6) years of project manager experience or equivalent combination of project manager education/experience.

  • Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • Performs a variety of tasks
  • Ability to lead and direct the work of others

  • Typically reports to head of a unit/department


Responsibilities
  • Oversees all aspects, including scope, of project; may lead and direct the work of others.
  • Oversees project plans and cost projections and approves revisions as appropriate; oversees the allocation of resources to ensure objectives are met.
  • Aligns project activities with organizational objectives; ensures project outcomes equate to organizational success.
  • Oversees the development of policies and procedures to meet project requirements.
  • Oversees the resolution of problems in order to maintain progress,
  • Oversees key activities and ensures accuracy of project documents and reports.

Physical and Environmental Demands
