Job summary

As an Associate Business Analyst within the Commercial Real Estate team, you will help leadership deliver priority initiatives through strong business analysis, clear requirements, and consistent delivery governance. You will partner with business stakeholders and technology teams to define needs, align on scope, and track progress through to implementation. You will develop executive-ready materials and reporting that highlight performance, risks, and decisions needed. You will use data and visualization to help leaders understand what is working, what is changing, and what support is required.


 

Job responsibilities

  • Support leadership special projects with structured problem-solving, research, and operational or strategic analysis
  • Create executive-ready materials (problem statements, options, recommendations, tradeoffs, risks, and asks) to enable timely decisions
  • Coordinate cross-functional working sessions and drive follow-through on commitments and next steps
  • Develop and maintain recurring leadership reporting (operational metrics, initiative status, actions, risks, and benefits tracking)
  • Build dashboards and visualizations to provide clear insights into performance, delivery progress, risks, and outcomes
  • Source, validate, and transform data for reporting using analytics and data-preparation tools, with appropriate controls and documentation
  • Define and maintain metric definitions, data-quality checks, and reporting standards to promote consistent interpretation
  • Facilitate discovery and clarification of business needs and document requirements that support solution design and delivery planning
  • Evaluate priorities and tradeoffs by documenting options, dependencies, risks, and cost-versus-benefit considerations
  • Run delivery governance routines, including concise status updates, decision tracking, and stakeholder communications
  • Plan and coordinate business testing and validation, ensuring outcomes meet business expectations and requirements are traceable

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Loan Operations Experience
  • Experience in business analysis, operations, initiative governance, or project delivery support
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data into clear insights, actions, and recommendations
  • Experience producing management reporting and communicating performance trends to senior stakeholders
  • Ability to translate business needs into clear, well-structured requirements and documentation
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including comfort partnering across business and technology teams
  • Working knowledge of common delivery lifecycles and ways of working (including iterative delivery approaches)
  • Experience tracking actions, risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions in a structured way
  • Proficiency with common delivery and workflow tools (for example, Jira or similar platforms)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-ready presentation skills

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience with dashboarding and data visualization tools (for example, Tableau)
  • Experience with data preparation and blending tools (for example, Alteryx)
  • Advanced spreadsheet skills (for example, complex formulas, pivot tables, and data-quality checks)
  • Experience supporting financial services, real estate, or similarly regulated environments
  • Exposure to risk, compliance, privacy, and operating controls considerations
  • Familiarity with cloud concepts to support effective partnering with technology teams
