Overview

The Senior Business Analyst provides senior-level analytical support across the commercial lifecycle for our technology services portfolio, including professional, managed, security, and related services-from prospecting and presales through contracting, implementation, renewals, and ongoing performance management. This role serves as a strategic analytical partner to service leadership, Sales Operations, and other stakeholders. The analyst develops scalable reporting and analytical models that clarify deal objectives, strengthen recurring revenue and profitability, and help leaders make informed business decisions and provides end-to-end visibility across the services lifecycle to improve revenue predictability, backlog, utilization, customer outcomes, and profitability.

Your Impact

The essential functions of this role include but are not limited to the following:
  • Business Analysis & Requirements: Gather requirements, define metrics, map processes, and translate business needs into reporting solutions.
  • Executive Communication: Present performance trends, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Business & Deal Analysis: Evaluate pricing, costs, margins, contract value, licensing, and deal profitability with the deal desk.
  • Services Lifecycle Performance: Analyze end-to-end services performance, identifying handoff gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Capacity & Demand Planning: Build capacity models to align skills and labor supply with backlog, demand forecasts, and resource needs.
  • Recurring Revenue & Retention: Develop reporting for NRR, GRR, churn, logo retention, customer performance, and FinOps metrics.
  • Field Operations & FP&A Partnership: Align services, financial, and sales data to support integrated analysis and business decisions.
  • Services Forecasting & Revenue Performance: Forecast bookings, backlog, revenue, and margin; identify risks impacting revenue realization.
  • Operational & Presales Analytics: Deliver analytics for complex opportunities, including security services and procurement-to-implementation engagements.
  • Renewals & Consumption Insights: Develop renewal and consumption models that drive actionable business recommendations.
  • Dashboard Development & Automation: Create executive dashboards and automate reporting using Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Excel, and related tools.
  • CRM & Data Quality: Improve data quality, validation, forecasting accuracy, and reporting integrity within Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with sales, finance, delivery, procurement, legal, and leadership on commercial and operational initiatives.
  • Reusable Analytics Library: Build and maintain standardized metrics, models, and analytical frameworks.
  • Prospect-Level Collaboration: Connect prospect and opportunity insights to delivery, renewal, and leadership decision-making.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in sales operations, financial analysis, business analytics, or a related discipline supporting sales, finance, or commercial decisions.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, data analytics, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Experience establishing and reporting managed services or subscription metrics, including NRR, GRR, churn, logo retention, customer-level analysis, and FinOps.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex cost-to-serve, revenue, margin, and scenario models .
  • Advanced Excel skills, including experience with Power Query, VBA, or comparable automation methods; ability to build repeatable dashboards and exception reports.
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel and working proficiency with SQL and Power BI or Tableau.
  • Strong experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, or another enterprise CRM, including data reviews, validation rules, cleansing, and forecast-integrity practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate financial and sales data into concise recommendations and presentations for senior leaders and to influence stakeholders without direct authority.

Positions Specifics

The initial base salary range for this position is expected to be between $90,000 and $120,000 annually. The final base salary offered will be determined by multiple factors, including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, depth of experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. In addition to the base salary, our compensation structure may include other components such as commissions and discretionary bonuses.

Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an offer of employment is extended.
