Project Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to oversee land-based drilling projects for municipal water well drilling. This role will play a critical part in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage project plans and schedules for assigned drilling projects.
  • Oversee all aspects of drilling operations, including budgeting, permitting, logistics, and contractor management.
  • Manage project budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders, including clients, internal teams, and regulatory agencies.
  • Track project progress, identify and mitigate potential risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and company protocols.
  • Analyze project-related data and generate reports as required.
  • Continuously improve project management processes and identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Meet regularly with managers and team at our Central Texas headquarters in Creedmoor, TX.
  • Travel to client sites regularly for key project milestones, to resolve project barriers, and to manage key issues around the health and safety of our teams.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction, Engineering, Geosciences, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in project management or a related discipline is required.
  • Preference for PM experience within the drilling industry (water well, oil & gas, etc.)
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time, within budget, and to specification.
  • Understanding or strong interest in land-based drilling operations, including relevant equipment, techniques, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Atlassian tools, Primavera).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license (may be required).
  • Ability to travel to client sites with some overnight stays required.
