Job Title: Project Manager

Location: Hill AFB, UT

Job Type: Full-Time

Overview: Systems Implementers, Inc. (SI) is a contracted implementation consulting firm at Hill AFB in Utah. The Project Manager leads and coordinates projects that improve systems and processes in a Department of Defense environment. Working with government stakeholders, the Project Manager gathers and manages requirements, guides development efforts, and keeps projects aligned with broader objectives. A successful Project Manager is organized, detail-oriented, and creatively solves problems at the root and communicates clearly with both technical and functional teams. This is not a remote position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Leadership and Coordination
    • Lead and coordinate projects from requirements through delivery
    • Work with government stakeholders and development teams to set priorities and track progress
    • Keep project work aligned with broader system initiatives and objectives
    • Identify risks early and keep stakeholders informed
  • Requirements and Specification Management
    • Gather, research, and document functional requirements
    • Manage specifications through the approval and development process
    • Ensure requirements meet regulations and industry best practices
  • Process Improvement and Problem Solving
    • Take part in continuous process improvement efforts
    • Apply root-cause analysis to find and fix process issues
    • Improve workflows and system processes for better efficiency and control
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Provide clear technical and functional communication
    • Deliver strong customer service and stakeholder support
    • Support training and knowledge transfer as needed
  • Documentation and Continuous Learning
    • Document requirements, decisions, and outcomes clearly
    • Stay current on system functions and process best practices
    • Support the adoption of best practices that improve efficiency and compliance
Required Skills and Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to research and quickly build expertise in system functions and processes
  • Experience supporting or managing projects and working across teams
  • Familiarity with project management methods and tracking tools
  • Strong root-cause problem-solving, analytical, and creative thinking skills
  • Excellent customer service and clear communication skills (technical and functional)
  • S. Citizen
  • Ability to pass a DoD Background check
  • Ability to work on-site at Hill Air Force Base

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), or Agile certification is a plus
  • Prior experience in a DoD or government environment is a plus
