Job Description:

Blue Water Thinking is seeking an experienced and dedicated Project Manager to join our team, supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Veterans Health Administration (VHA). The Project Manager will serve as the primary contractor point of contact for VHA requests for subject matter expert (SME) support and matters related to contractor performance. This role will oversee a large-scale, multi-project program and ensure successful delivery of program objectives in support of the VHA mission

This is a Hybrid position with occasional reporting to 810 Vermont Avenue NW, Washington, DC, upon Government request without additional travel expense to the Government.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary contractor point of contact for VHA stakeholders regarding SME support and contractor performance.
  • Manage program planning, execution, deliverables, schedules, risks, and stakeholder coordination across multiple projects.
  • Coordinate SME resources and ensure program activities align with VHA objectives and contractual requirements.
  • Develop and present executive-level reports, briefings, and program updates.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Business Administration, Project Management, Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience supporting a large corporation or government agency.
  • Experience managing large-scale programs involving multiple projects and stakeholders.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or comparable certification.
  • Experience managing the full program lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout.
  • Experience developing executive-level program management reports, briefings, or presentations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) or Veterans Health Administration (VHA).
  • Experience supporting a large healthcare organization or federal healthcare program.
  • Experience managing federal contracts, task orders, or professional services engagements.
  • Experience coordinating subject matter experts across multiple functional areas


Eligibility:
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required federal public trust clearance for this role.


Compensation:

Salary for this position is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, location, the candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract specific affordability and organizational requirements. The proposed salary range for this position is outlined below.

Salary range: $110,000 - $125,000
