Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Science or Engineering preferred but not essential
• 5-10 years of experience on projects over $10M with expertise in Healthcare, Advanced Manufacturing, and General Construction
• Familiarity with scheduling software like Primavera and Procore preferred
• Experience using technologies such as digital plan rooms, BIM, or laser scanning
• Demonstrated ability to lead preconstruction efforts
• Strong problem-solving abilities for project planning and execution
• Excellent communication skills for team and stakeholder collaboration

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff including Quality Managers and Assistant Project Managers to ensure project success
• Optimize project delivery by effectively staffing projects
• Plan and lead estimating handoff and project kickoff meetings
• Mitigate risks by ensuring compliance with pre-planning processes
• Assist in developing project risk management strategies
• Draft and analyze subcontracts for clarity and compliance
• Create detailed subcontractor bid tabs to facilitate decision-making
• Initiate pre-qualification process for potential subcontractors to ensure quality
• Collaborate with the Superintendent on procurement of materials and equipment
• Prepare change proposals for the Owner to maintain project alignment
• Chair weekly meetings to monitor project progress and address issues
• Oversee monthly billing to maintain financial accuracy
• Monitor project schedule to ensure timely completion
• Manage project safety programs for a secure work environment
• Coordinate project close-out activities including warranties and manuals
