Position DescriptionThe Project Manager is responsible for overall project planning and scheduling, and project budget management, while providing technical direction and ensuring compliance with quality standards. The construction project manager responsibilities span a broad spectrum, covering all the areas of project management: Project Planning, Cost Management, Time Management, Quality Management, Subcontractor Bid Awards, Contract Administration, and Safety Management.
Responsibilities Include:- Oversee the construction project from start to finish.
- Establish project team, develop the objectives and goals for each team member and monitor progress.
- Expedite and ensure the on-time or early delivery of all project components and trades in the planned sequence.

- Perform project accounting functions
- Collaborate with subcontractors and vendors to address project requirements.
- Regular inspection of construction sites.
- Review of project documents for completeness.
- Monitor the progress of the construction activities
- Maintain strict adherence to the budgetary guidelines, quality and safety standards.
- Weekly/Monthly reporting to client.
- Prepare and review monthly required documents (Pay apps, change orders, vendor invoices, etc.).
- Communicate effectively and maintain a positive working relationships with all project team members
- Must be committed to contributing to a culture of SAFETY!!
Position RequirementsMinimum Requirements- College degree in Building Construction, Civil Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5 years related experience with a General Contractor in the construction of Commercial Industrial and Office Facilities.
- Successfully led project teams to achieve corporate and client goals.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Excellent technical skills; understanding of computer software, hardware.
- Familiarity with Viewpoint, Procore, Bluebeam software a positive.
- Proficient in plan take-off and Microsoft Office software suite.
- Must be self-motivated and a TEAM PLAYER.
- Experience with light industrial tilt buildings a positive.
- Some travel required.
Environmental/Working Conditions- 25% field office and site environment.
- 75% office environment.
- Jobsite will involve exposure to varying noise and dust levels.
Work Location- In person at Corporate Office in Marietta, GA
