Full Job Description
East & Westbrook Construction is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial and industrial construction projects from award through closeout. This role is responsible for managing project schedules, budgets, subcontractors, client relationships, safety, and quality to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who can effectively coordinate multiple subcontractors, maintain project financial performance, and deliver exceptional customer service throughout the construction process.

Responsibilities
  • Manage construction projects from contract award through final closeout.
  • Lead all aspects of project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
  • Procure, negotiate, contract, and manage subcontractors and vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate and direct subcontractor activities to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and in compliance with project requirements.
  • Conduct subcontractor and progress meetings with owners, architects, engineers, and trade partners.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, critical path activities, and short-term look-ahead schedules.
  • Monitor project costs, forecast financial performance, and manage budgets to achieve profitability goals.
  • Review and manage subcontracts, change orders, pay applications, RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and project documentation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify and resolve project challenges, delays, and risks.
  • Support and promote East & Westbrook's Safety Program and ensure compliance with all company and project-specific safety requirements.
  • Mentor Superintendents and collaborate closely with field leadership to achieve project objectives.
  • Ensure all work meets contract requirements, quality standards, and client expectations.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Project Management experience in commercial, industrial, or general contracting environments.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple subcontractors and trade partners on construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction means and methods, scheduling, budgeting, contracts, and cost control.
  • Experience with construction management and project scheduling software.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated, customer-focused, and results-oriented.
  • Valid driver's license required.
