PROJECT MANAGER: FFE, Design, Procurement, Construction

LOCATION: Clearwater, FL

DEPARTMENT: DEVELOPMENT

REPORTS TO: VICE PRESIDENT OF SFD

STATUS: FULL-TIME (EXEMPT)

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Project Manager leads the planning and execution of SFC's Design Consulting and FF&E/OS&E Procurement Services across high-impact sports and recreation development projects. From early design input to FF&E Project Management and Pre-Opening support, this role ensures seamless coordination between owners, architects, contractors, and internal teams. Ideal candidates are detail-driven, client-focused professionals with proven experience managing timelines, budgets, and vendor teams in fast-paced environments. This is a hands-on leadership role with exposure to every stage of the development lifecycle - from concept through grand opening

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
  • Lead or participate in recurring meetings with clients, architects, contractors, and internal teams
  • Manage SFC's development services contract and ensure successful delivery of all associated project deliverables
  • Serve as liaison between project stakeholders, including SFC leadership, general contractor, and venue opening teams during the pre-opening and final completion phases
  • Communicate project milestones, risks, and concerns to clients and internal leadership teams
  • Provide regular written updates and progress reports to SFC Leadership
  • Develop good working relationships with suppliers, dealers, and manufacturers
  • Deliver Venue Planning / Design Consulting Services on Assigned Projects
  • Provide Operational Expertise and Contract Deliverables to Owner and Owner's Design Team
  • Provide Feedback for Operational Best Practices through Design process
  • Deliver FF&E & OS&E Project Management and Consulting Services to Assigned Projects
  • Develop and manage project specific FF&E/OS&E procurement plans, schedules and budgets
  • Create and Deliver FF&E Design Specifications & Requirements, FF&E Coordination Information, RFPs, Proposal/Scope Reviews, Contracting Assistance, Pre-Bid Meetings, Submittal Reviews, Installation Coordination, RFI Responses, Pay App Processing, Punch Lists and Closeout Support.
  • Oversight of FF&E Contractors and Associate Contracts for Compliance
  • Coordinate with Technology and AV teams on delivery and installation of other products and services at new openings
  • Communicate daily concerns with Project Manager and General Contractor
  • Complete punch list for FF&E
  • Additional duties assigned by management

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • College Degree preferred but not required
  • 5 Years Construction Management experience and/or FFE Procurement Experience.
  • Proven Experience in proactively managing contractors, architects,
  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience is working with and/or implementing project management software
  • Detail oriented, organized with the ability to multi-task and work under pressure
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and good customer service skills
  • Ability to analyze and problem solve
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Maintain professional appearance and attitude in all settings
  • Experience in client interface and relationship management

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Willing to travel up to 30% of the time

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Must be able to lift 40 pounds waist high
  • Will be required to sit for extended periods of time operating a computer
  • Office environment has intermittent noise, normal in nature
