As a Project Manager / Engineer, you will serve as a vital technical and organizational bridge across the FCG ecosystem. You will work closely with leadership across our distinct brands to streamline engineering solutions, ensure project alignment, and drive growth. On a daily basis, you will collaborate with Senior Estimators, Inside Sales Representatives, and Strategic Account Managers to take complex technical projects from initial estimation through execution and delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Brand & Technology Integration: Maintain an in-depth, comprehensive knowledge of all FCG brands, products, and technology groups. Identify cross-brand opportunities to create comprehensive flow control solutions for customers.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner daily with Inside Sales Representatives, Senior Estimators, and Strategic Account Managers to evaluate project scopes, review engineering specifications, and ensure technical alignment on high-value accounts.
  • Project Execution & Management: Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of complex engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest technical and quality standards.
  • Cost Control & Change Orders: Manage project financials, enforce cost controls, and protect gross margins. Identify and capture out-of-scope requests early, executing change orders and ensuring all budget modifications are fully documented, approved, and integrated into the billing process.
  • Leadership Stakeholder Management: Work closely with brand leadership to align project strategies with broader corporate initiatives, managing communication across multiple internal organizational structures.
  • Technical Consultation: Serve as a subject matter expert on flow control technologies (valves, automation, pumps, instrumentation), providing technical support during the bidding and proposal phase.
  • Risk & Quality Management: Review technical drawings, data sheets, and project documentation to mitigate risk, ensure compliance with industry standards, and maintain the integrity of delivered solutions.

  • Collaboration & Communication: Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build relationships and work effectively with executive leadership, sales teams, estimators, and external clients.
  • Project Management Skills: Highly organized with a demonstrated track record of managing multiple technical projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. PMP certification is a plus.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and engineering problem-solving capabilities, with a keen eye for detail in technical specifications and commercial estimations.

What We Offer
  • Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package (Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, etc.).
  • Opportunities for career advancement within a rapidly growing, industry-leading organization.
  • A collaborative and innovative work environment with exposure to a wide variety of engineering technologies and market sectors.
