We are looking for a Project Manager to lead the planning and execution of our Transmission Pole Replacement Program and Like-for-Like Asset Replacement Program, with overall accountability for project delivery, onsite-oversight, contractor management, budget and schedule performance, coordination, and reporting.
In this role, you'll lead a team of schedulers, analysts, etc. while helping shape the future of our utility infrastructure. You'll guide projects from planning through construction, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently, and in alignment with organizational goals. ResponsibilitiesAs the Project Manager, you will provide overall leadership, governance, and strategic direction for two critical asset replacement programs. You will be responsible for achieving program objectives related to safety, schedule, budget, quality, and performance while supporting broader business priorities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the successful delivery of the Transmission Pole Replacement Program
- Leading and mentoring a team of schedulers and analysts, while fostering accountability, collaboration, professional development, and continuous improvement.
- Developing bundled replacement projects to optimize construction efficiency, resource utilization, and overall program performance.
- Partnering closely with internal project teams and stakeholders to align planning, scheduling, engineering, procurement, and execution activities.
- Overseeing project development, including scope definition, design coordination, cost estimating, risk identification, and stakeholder engagement.
- Managing program budgets, schedules, milestones, risks, and performance metrics to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Coordinating permitting, materials procurement, outage planning, and pre-construction activities to support seamless execution.
- Facilitating project reviews, constructability assessments, kickoff meetings, and governance milestones to ensure readiness and compliance.
- Leading contractor and stakeholder coordination throughout construction and project implementation.
- Monitoring project performance and proactively resolving issues that may impact scope, cost, schedule, or quality.
- Providing program reporting, executive updates, and stakeholder communications.
- Ensuring project closeout activities, documentation, and lessons learned are completed in accordance with company standards.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Environmental Permitting, or a related discipline.
- 5 or more years of experience in the electric utility industry in project management, engineering, construction, contracts, operations, or related fields.
- 5 or more years of experience in project financial planning, forecasting, and reporting.
- Strong knowledge of utility operations, engineering principles, environmental considerations, and project delivery practices.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, balance competing deadlines, and drive projects to completion.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel, as well as Power BI, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams.
- Valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
Preferred Qualifications- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Experience leading complex utility infrastructure or asset replacement programs.

Benefits & Salary:- This position pays between $100,000 and $150,000 annually and is an exempt position.
- Benefits offered include company sponsored medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plan with company match. Also offered are tuition reimbursement, voluntary life, disability, critical illness, accident and hospitalization plans. HSA or FSA medical accounts and FSA dependent care and transportation/parking accounts are also available. These benefits are subject to employee contribution amounts generally set annually.
