Position Description

The Project Manager will join a collaborative team that partners with executives, business development, owners' representatives, field teams, and design partners to deliver exceptional projects in a fast-paced environment. This role is responsible for managing larageground-up commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. The Project Manager will oversee project planning, budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, contract administration, and client communication while working closely with field leadership to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. They will proactively identify and resolve challenges, foster strong relationships with clients and trade partners, and provide leadership throughout every phase of construction.

Principle Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and cost controls throughout the project lifecycle
  • Lead project buyout, subcontractor procurement, contract negotiation, and scope management
  • Manage project financials, including accounts receivable, pay applications, change orders, and cost reporting
  • Oversee the shop drawing, submittal, RFI, and document control processes
  • Coordinate project planning and execution with field teams, owners, architects, engineers, and trade partners
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring milestones and deadlines are achieved
  • Identify and proactively resolve project risks, conflicts, and constructability issues
  • Support implementation of the project safety plan and quality assurance program in partnership with field leadership
  • Build and maintain strong client, design partner, and subcontractor relationships to ensure exceptional project delivery and client satisfaction
  • Lead project meetings and provide clear communication to all stakeholders throughout the construction process
  • Ensure successful project closeout, including punch list completion, final documentation, and owner turnover

Position Requirements

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager overseeing commercial construction projects
  • Proven experience managing ground-up projects from preconstruction through closeout
  • Strong knowledge of project budgeting, scheduling, contract administration, cost control, and risk management
  • Experience leading subcontractor procurement, buyout, change order management, and project financial reporting
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, design teams, and trade partners
  • Proficiency with construction management software, including Procore and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and industry experience
