Persistent Systems is seeking a dynamic Project Manager to lead high‑visibility B2B technical programs that support mission‑critical Government and commercial customers. You’ll be at the center of delivering cutting‑edge network and communications solutions. As the primary customer interface, you’ll guide cross‑functional teams, shape project strategy, and ensure our partners receive exceptional execution and support.

 

Position Responsibilities

  • Lead Full‑Lifecycle Projects — Own planning, scheduling, resourcing, deliverables, change management, and customer communication for complex B2B programs
  • Drive Operational Excellence — Maintain accurate project plans, schedules, budgets, risk registers, requirements documentation, and task tracking
  • Ensure Financial Accuracy — Partner with the Project Specialist to ensure precise budget reporting and personnel tracking
  • Guide High‑Performing Teams — Motivate and coordinate project teams to deliver on time, within budget, and aligned with customer expectations
  • Serve as Customer Champion — Act as the primary liaison for customer project managers and internal stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and issue resolution
  • Support Compliance & Documentation — Assist customers with required Government and Customer forms and documentation
  • Contribute to Business Growth — Support responses to RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, and other formal requests that drive new business opportunities
  • Stay Technically Sharp — Maintain working knowledge of network/communications systems and Government procurement processes
Job Qualifications & Experience

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, project management, or related field; or equivalent experience
  • PMP certification, DAU Project Management training, or formal PMP coursework
  • 4+ years managing technical projects, including technical writing and proposal development
  • Proficiency with MS Project or similar tools
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in fast‑paced environments
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills
  • Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
  • Ability to travel up to 30%

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with network or communications systems (2+ years)
  • Background in Uncrewed Systems (UAS, UGV, UxS)
  • Master’s degree in engineering, business administration, project management, or related field

 

The base pay for this role can vary from $102,000 to $156,000 a year based on individual qualifications. Eligibility for yearly discretionary bonus.
