Full Job Description
This role is responsible for guiding projects from concept through construction, aligning client goals, design vision, and technical execution. The Project Manager fosters collaboration across multidisciplinary teams, building strong relationships with clients, consultants, and stakeholders while ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and within budget. The Project Manager plays a key role in shaping thoughtful, efficient, and community-focused housing solutions that reflect Dekker's commitment to design excellence and positive impact.

  • Maintain awareness of client expectations, industry best practices, and quality standards
  • Participate in strategic discussions related to studio operations and project delivery methods
  • Bring curiosity and accountability to everything-from design meetings to project administration


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field is required; candidates without a degree will be considered based on equivalent relevant experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of project delivery methods, regulatory processes, fee structures, and construction phases
  • Advanced communication and negotiation skills with the ability to lead conversations and resolve issues collaboratively
  • Proficiency in project management and architectural tools, such as Revit, are a plus.
  • PMP certification (preferred but not required)
  • Applicants must reside near Albuquerque, Phoenix, or El Paso
