Full Job Description
Project Manager

Location: Idaho Falls, ID 100% Onsite Schedule: 4x10 (Mon-Thu) Period of Performance: 07/07/2026 - 09/30/2027

Position Summary

The Project Manager will support by planning project scope, organizing resources, managing work packages, monitoring progress, providing technical oversight, and ensuring successful execution of project objectives at the DOE Idaho Site.

Essential Duties
• Develop and review project plans and proposals.
• Identify project priorities, phases, schedules, and sequencing.
• Prepare and manage project budgets, labor, material, and associated costs.
• Coordinate with contractors, engineers, business support services, and stakeholders.
• Identify and manage technical and project risks.
• Monitor schedule and budget performance and implement corrective actions.
• Communicate project status through reports and presentations.
• Oversee troubleshooting and issue resolution.
• Develop schedules, cost estimates, project management documentation, engineering documentation, and compliance strategies.
• Maintain project records and documentation.
• Provide routine field support at the DOE Idaho Site.

Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of directly applicable experience (project management/engineering preferred).
• Experience applying management and engineering principles in DOE or industrial facilities.
• Strong technical writing, communication, and project documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications
• DOE facility experience.

• Experience working with DOE, Idaho DEQ, EPA, Tribal Nations, and other stakeholders.

Safety Requirements

Must comply with all environmental, safety, health, quality, security, and Integrated Safety Management System requirements.
