SUMMARY

This Project Manager position offers the opportunity to lead various strategic and operational projects that directly support the Office of the Chief Operating Officer. The role is ideal for a collaborative project management professional who enjoys leading cross-functional teams, managing complex initiatives, and partnering with executive stakeholders to successfully deliver projects from planning through implementation and long-term sustainability.

In this role, you will lead end-to-end project management by developing project plans, defining objectives, managing scope, schedules, budgets, risks, resources, and deliverables while ensuring projects remain aligned with organizational priorities. You will facilitate project meetings, develop communication plans, provide leadership updates, perform risk assessments, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with established quality standards. Strong critical thinking, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential to successfully managing multiple priorities in a dynamic healthcare environment.

You will also serve as a key coordinator of cross-functional resources and stakeholder engagement, working closely with operational leaders, subject matter experts, and project team members across multiple divisions. Success in this role requires building strong relationships, facilitating collaboration, resolving project challenges, securing necessary resources, and keeping teams aligned toward shared business objectives.

A significant component of this position involves project reporting, analytics, and executive communication. You will monitor project milestones, maintain RAID logs, develop project dashboards and status reports, analyze trends, evaluate project performance, and provide leadership with meaningful updates that support informed decision-making. Experience with project reporting, budget management, and performance metrics will be valuable in helping drive successful project outcomes.

**The preferred candidate will have experience working with AI tools, a PMP and healthcare experience. This position requires being onsite at least once per week with more days required based on the business need.**

JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES

1. Project Management

a. Facilitates the implementation of projects/project teams using project management skills, tools, and techniques.

b. Manage project execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope

c. Develop or update project plans for projects including information such as project objectives, information specifications, schedules, funding, technologies, and staffing

d. Submit project deliverables, ensuring adherence to quality standards

e. Establish and execute a project communication plan including updates on progress and budgets as needed

f. Schedule and facilitate meetings related to projects including creating agendas, presentations, and minutes

g. Initiate, review, or approve modifications to project plans

h. Perform risk assessments to develop response strategies

i. Track project milestones and ensure projects are completed on time and to quality standards.

j. Demonstrates understanding of project management principles, critical thinking ability, and complex problem solving skills

2. Resource Coordination

a. Confer with project personnel to identify and resolve problem; Raise and identify any key project risks or issues

b. Manage activities of project personnel

c. Assign duties, responsibilities, and spans of authority to project resources

d. Work with staff to develop project goals and project plans.

e. Determine and secure necessary resources to complete projects.

3. Project Reporting

a. Monitor or track project milestones and deliverables including managing and updating RAID log

b. Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing trends

c. Work with reporting teams to determine statistical and qualitative analysis needs for each project and work with staff to determine appropriate sources and methods.

d. Develop and report on evaluation criteria for each project.

e. Develop report and reconcile project budgets and grant submissions as necessary.

Education

Required:
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field

Preferred:
• Master's Degree in a related field

Work Experience

Required:
• 4 years of related project/program management experience OR
• 2 years of required experience with preferred degree
• May substitute required education degree with additional years of equivalent experience

Preferred:
• Project management experience in a complex healthcare setting

Licenses and Certifications

Preferred:
• Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) - PMI
