Position SummaryJLL is seeking a Project Manager to support Investor Industrial Services, an industrial-focused business within the National Investor Services platform. This role reports directly to the Senior Vice President, Investor Industrial Services, and is centered on execution: coordinating communications, managing project tracking, and providing the operational support required to keep capital projects, client commitments, and platform priorities moving forward.
This is an execution-focused role rather than a growth-focused one. The Project Manager will support the SVP across the full range of capital improvement, landlord oversight, and new development advisory engagements, while also providing direct support to the National Investor Services platform and assisting with project coordination across other markets as needed.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate day-to-day communications on behalf of the SVP, Investor Industrial Services, ensuring timely follow-up with clients, brokerage partners, property managers, and asset managers.
- Track and maintain the Investor Industrial Services project pipeline and status reporting, keeping information current and accurate across all active engagements.
- Support execution of capital improvement, landlord oversight, and new development advisory projects, including scope development, budget tracking, and schedule coordination.
- Own anticipated cost report (ACR) entries and support regular reconciliation and financial reviews.
- Support pay application review and assist with contract creation and management for vendors and contractors.
- Prepare and coordinate weekly Owner-Architect-Contractor (OAC) meetings, including agenda creation, meeting minutes, and maintenance of project risk registers.
- Coordinate vendors for site walks and punch list development and closeout.
- Maintain project documentation on both JLL servers and client servers as directed, and populate project information on designated platforms and systems.
- Support tracking and recording of project revenue and invoicing in coordination with the SVP and finance/accounting teams.
- Provide direct project coordination and administrative support to the National Investor Services platform as requested.
- Support project coordination across other markets as needed, operating under the direction of the SVP and National Investor Services platform leadership.
- Assist in preparing reporting materials, status dashboards, and updates used in client-facing reviews and platform leadership discussions.
Reporting StructureThis role reports directly to the Senior Vice President, Investor Industrial Services, and functions as an execution partner to that role. While the SVP is responsible for driving growth strategy, this position is responsible for the coordination and delivery work that supports it. The Project Manager may also be called upon to provide direct support to the National Investor Services platform and to assist with project coordination in other markets, as directed by the SVP or platform leadership.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, real estate, or a related field preferred.
- 3-5+ years of experience in project management, project coordination, or owner's representative services, ideally within commercial real estate; industrial sector experience preferred.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Experience with cost reporting, pay application review, and contract administration.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across clients, brokerage, property management, and asset management contacts.
- Comfort supporting a senior leader's priorities and operating within established platform processes and reporting lines.
- Ability to support work across multiple markets as needed, while maintaining strong day-to-day execution in the home market.
