Commercial Project Manager
Location: Nashville, TN (office-based, with travel to job sites within ~2 hours of Nashville) Compensation: $90,000-$120,000/year DOE, plus bonus Perks: $500/month car allowance, gas card, oil changes covered, generous benefits, PTO, 401(k) with match, and more
What You'll Do
As Commercial Project Manager, you'll own your projects end to end - managing everything from budgets and schedules to client relationships and subcontractor coordination. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Manage commercial mechanical construction projects from start to finish (usually 1 at a time)
- Budget management and financial tracking
- Project scheduling and schedule commitments
- Client communication and project correspondence
- Lead weekly ownership meetings
- Coordinate subcontractors
- Manage project documentation
- Manage RFIs and submittal flow
- Handle buyouts and closeouts
- Coordinate the CAD/3D modeling process (managing workflow, not performing the modeling)
- Manage project quality and completion
- May supervise an Assistant Project Manager
- Use Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and Procore daily to manage documentation, budgets, and workflow
Work environment: This role is based out of the Nashville corporate office, with roughly 70-80% of time in the office handling PM responsibilities and 20-30% in the field, traveling to active job sites to attend meetings, check progress, and coordinate with field teams and clients. Projects are generally within about a two-hour radius of Nashville (including Cookeville, Dickson, and surrounding areas). No overnight travel required.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone with:
- 3-5 years of commercial construction project management experience
- Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred, although not required
- A collaborative mindset that fits our team-oriented culture
- The ability to take ownership and run with it - minimal hand-holding needed
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- A track record of managing multiple project priorities at once
- Experience with budget management, scheduling, client relations, RFIs, submittals, buyouts, closeouts, financial tracking, and project documentation
- Familiarity with the commercial construction lifecycle and managing a CAD/BIM/3D modeling workflow
Compensation & Benefits
