Full Job Description
To accommodate our continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and energetic individual for a civil engineering project management position. This position is ideal for a civil engineer that enjoys working on a team, working with clients, and bringing in work on building and site development, drainage, utility, parks and recreation, roadway, trail and campus development projects. Work will be out of our Collinsville, IL and/or St. Louis, MO offices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet with clients and potential clients to discuss projects
  • Actively participate in team meetings to work effectively with team members
  • Apply industry-standard practices to complete work on time
  • Develop person-hour estimates and proposals
  • Manage scope, schedule, and budgets on multiple projects
  • Perform and check design calculations, plans, and quantity takeoffs
  • Work collaboratively with clients, engineers, and managers to develop designs
  • Develop plans and construction documents
  • Develop construction cost estimates
  • Review construction bids to recommend awards and perform construction administration

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering - master's degree is a plus
  • PE license
  • 5+ years of experience working with both government and private clients in Missouri and Illinois
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D and MicroStation
  • Strong verbal, writing, and presentation skills
  • Strong technical skills in one or more of the following areas is a plus:
    • Hydrology and Hydraulics
    • Development Review for Municipalities
    • Multi-Use Path and Park Design
    • Commercial Site Design
    • Water and Sewer Design
    • Road, Parking Lot, and Pavement Design
