Job DescriptionCEDA is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager, Chemical Cleaning to join our team in Red Deer, Alberta, reporting directly to the Operations Manager, Chemical Cleaning.
The Project Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for chemical cleaning clients, leading projects from initial planning and estimating through execution and completion. This role is responsible for developing strategic project plans, preparing accurate cost estimates, coordinating technical requirements, and providing ongoing support to field operations.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:- Provide direct leadership, coordination, and continuity to assigned crews while maintaining communication with the General Manager
- Supervise field personnel, subcontractors, equipment, materials, and project activities
- Plan and coordinate work in accordance with project schedules, budgets, quality standards, and safety objectives
- Maintain a safe, clean, and environmentally responsible worksite as per CEDA policies, procedures and Safe Work Practices
- Identify and address unsafe or environmentally unsound conditions and initiate corrective action as required
- Prepare crews and equipment in advance for setup, processing, rig-down, and decontamination activities
- Ensure equipment is properly received, inspected, maintained, and operational throughout each project
- Complete accurate Daily Service Orders and required project documentation
- Coordinate site orientations, employee travel, accommodations, and other logistical requirements
- Develop work procedures based on company policies, client requirements, and applicable regulations
- Obtain vendor quotes and coordinate third-party services when required
- Prepare project cost estimates in accordance with plans, contracts, and client requirements
- Work closely with laboratory services, blend plants, and other internal departments to support successful project completion
- Build and maintain positive customer relationships through safe, reliable, and measurable work performance
- Interact professionally with client purchasing departments, site personnel, and project managers
- Review and understand client agreements to ensure contractual obligations are properly managed
- Support sales activities as directed and coordinate opportunities with the Business Development team
- Provide performance feedback and initiate disciplinary action when appropriate.
- Perform other related duties as required
Role Specifications:- 3-5 years related work experience in Oil & Gas industry, specific experience in Chemical Cleaning services is required.
- Business or Technical degree or equivalent is considered an asset
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements
- Proven project management and planning abilities in the Chemical Cleaning industry
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Excellent organization and communication skills required
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Field FX and AX an asset
