Job Description A Senior PMO Manager is someone who is primarily valued for leading other PMO practitioners. They are a people leader and are likely to be able to set up PMOs and recover failing ones.
Responsibilities: - Plan, execute, and oversee cloud-related projects, ensuring alignment with client goals, timelines, and budgets
- Collaborate with technical teams to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and resource requirements
- Manage the entire project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure
- Act as a primary point of contact between clients, stakeholders, and internal teams, facilitating communication and resolving issues
- Track project progress and performance using tools like JIRA, Trello, or MS Project, ensuring on-time delivery
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans to address potential issues proactively
- Ensure adherence to best practices in cloud implementation, security, and compliance throughout project execution
- Drive the adoption of Agile or other project management methodologies, promoting iterative and efficient workflows
- Prepare and present project status reports, highlighting progress, challenges, and achievements
Required Skills & Experiences: - 6-9 years of experience in project management, preferably in cloud migration, implementation, or IT infrastructure projects
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and cross-functional teams effectively
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-related technologies
- Strong understanding of project management tools and methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)
- Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
- Experience with risk management, budgeting, and stakeholder engagement
- PMP certification is a plus
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is:
$70,75 1- $165,984 CAD. Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.
