The Opportunity:

  • Assist in project management needs across multiple contract task activities
  • Supporting the Program Manager and Project Manager in planning, monitoring and reporting program activities.
  • Growth oriented role in project management supporting program business operations and business management

Responsibilities:

  • Operational Support:
    • Assist in identifying and facilitating the resolution of operational issues within the program, project, or new business opportunity.
    • Act as a liaison between technical teams and functional areas (i.e, quality, training, logistics, production, finance, and customer operations) to ensure smooth communication and collaboration.
  • Program Planning and Monitoring:
    • Support the Program and Project Manager in planning, monitoring, and executing program and project activities.
    • Assist in the development and maintenance of program schedules, timelines, and milestones.
  • Program and Project Execution:
    • Help execute one or more aspects of the program or project, such as resource allocations and management, risk management, scheduling, deployment and delivery of goods and services, or other program and project support functions.
    • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of program documentation, including status reports, meeting minutes, schedules and action item logs.
  • Liaison Role:
    • Serve as a point of contact for program and project-related queries and issues, ensuring timely and effective communication between stakeholders.
    • Facilitate meetings and workshops to drive program and project objectives and ensure alignment across teams, functional roles and enterprise operations.
  • Risk Management:
    • Assist in identifying potential risks and issues that may impact program and project delivery.
    • Contribute to the development and implementation of risk mitigation strategies.
    • Resource Management:

Support the allocation and management of resources to ensure program and project goals are met within specified timelines and budgets

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent time in Project Management, Engineering, or related fields in managing projects.
  • Experience:
    • Min of 2 years of experience in project management or a related role. Internship or equivalent experience in project management is a plus.
    • Strong background in Automated Test Systems and Equipment.
  • Skills:
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
    • Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Desired:

  • Experience with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana).
  • Knowledge of Automated Test Systems and Equipment for DoD
  • Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and think critically.
  • PMP, CAPM, or other project management certifications are desirable but not required.

Pay Range:

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
