This role will partner closely with Operations leadership, Change Management, Business stakeholders, Delivery teams, Technology partners, and control functions to align milestones, dependencies, risks, decisions, and readiness activities across impacted groups. The role will also support TD delivery expectations by maintaining disciplined planning, governance, RAID management, decision tracking, artifact readiness, approval coordination, and executive-ready reporting.

Key Accountabilities
  • Business/Ops Planning: Lead and maintain the Business and Operations planning view for assigned releases, ensuring operational activities, readiness milestones, decision points, and dependencies are clearly defined and tracked.

  • Integrated Plan Management: Partner with the Delivery Lead and program team to incorporate Business/Ops milestones into the overall integrated plan, including critical path items, cross-workstream dependencies, testing readiness, rollout activities, hypercare, and transition-to-BAU requirements.

  • Stakeholder Coordination: Act as a key coordination point across Operations leadership, Business SMEs, Change Management, Delivery, Technology, Risk/Control partners, and other impacted groups to ensure alignment on scope, timelines, ownership, and readiness expectations.

  • Operational Readiness: Support definition and tracking of operating model impacts, business process changes, procedures, controls, training needs, communications, support models, and go-live readiness criteria.

  • Governance and Reporting: Prepare clear status updates, risks, issues, decisions, and escalations for working groups, governance forums, and leadership reviews, ensuring Business/Ops impacts are visible and actionable.

  • TD Delivery Governance: Support TD delivery lifecycle expectations by tracking required artifacts, governance checkpoints, approval readiness, decision logs, RAID updates, and escalation materials needed for working groups, steering forums, and leadership reviews.

  • Dependency and Risk Management: Identify, document, and actively manage dependencies, risks, assumptions, issues, and decisions across Business/Ops and Delivery workstreams; escalate blockers and support mitigation planning.

  • Change Integration: Partner with Change Management to ensure stakeholder impacts, adoption activities, communications, training, readiness assessments, and sustainment actions are integrated into the project delivery plan.

  • Execution Discipline: Drive follow-through on action items, decision logs, milestone completion, and readiness checkpoints; ensure owners and due dates are clearly assigned and tracked to closure.

Required Skills and Experience
  • Demonstrated project management experience supporting medium to high complexity initiatives across business, operations, technology, and change workstreams.

  • Strong planning discipline, including experience maintaining integrated plans, milestone trackers, dependency logs, RAID logs, action registers, and readiness dashboards.

  • Ability to partner with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to clarify scope, drive alignment, resolve issues, and support timely decision-making.

  • Strong understanding of operational readiness, business process impacts, target operating models, transition-to-BAU planning, and change adoption activities.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create concise executive-ready status updates, meeting materials, action summaries, and escalation notes.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities, follow up on open items, and maintain delivery momentum across multiple stakeholder groups.

  • Experience working in a regulated banking or financial services environment preferred, including familiarity with TD-style governance expectations, delivery lifecycle checkpoints, artifact readiness, approvals, RAID management, risk/control documentation, compliance considerations, and executive-level status reporting.

  • Payments knowledge is helpful, including familiarity with payment operations, wires/high-value payments, payment processing workflows, operational handoffs, exception management, reconciliation, and related business readiness considerations.

  • Ability to operate within a matrixed TD delivery environment, balancing Business, Operations, Change, Delivery, Technology, Risk, and governance needs while maintaining clear ownership, action tracking, and leadership transparency.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, project planning tools, collaboration platforms, and reporting materials used to manage delivery execution and stakeholder communications.

Success Measures
  • Business/Ops deliverables, risks, dependencies, milestones, decisions, approvals, and readiness evidence are visible in the integrated plan and actively managed through TD delivery forums.

  • Operational readiness is supported with clear evidence of impacted processes, procedures, controls, training, communications, support model impacts, and transition-to-BAU planning.

  • Leadership updates are concise, accurate, decision-oriented, and aligned to TD expectations for status reporting, escalation, and governance transparency.
