Summary

The MIL Corporation seeks a Project Manager (Business Analysis, Sr. Manager) to support a Federal Government client in the Washington, DC metro area. The responsibilities for this position will include leading a team implementing automation and AI applications. Position also includes business process analysis, project documentation and requirements documentation.

This position currently requires a hybrid schedule. Schedule is subject to change based on company/contract requirements.

This position is currently unfunded and is being posted in anticipation of a future contract award and funding approval. We are proactively identifying and engaging with qualified candidates. While candidates may be contacted for pre-screening, any hiring decisions will be contingent upon funding availability and final program requirements or client approval.

Responsibilities
  • Act as primary team lead and project manager for automation and AI application implementation
  • Manage and coach team members
  • Serve as primary client point of contact, support status communications and reporting
  • Create, edit, and revise, as appropriate, automation project documentation, approach memos, and process maps
  • Support collection of user requirements, reviewing software designs for accuracy and cross-system and cross-organization impact, assessing operational/business impacts
  • Act as liaison between the systems development, computer operations, and accounting groups for software changes and coordination of operational procedures
  • Support testing and training development/execution

Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in project management for projects involving audit coordination, analytics and dashboards, and automation
  • Experience with requirements development, process analysis, and/ or automated financial systems analysis
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (in a technical and non-technical capacity)

Desired Qualifications
  • Experience developing requirements for RPA software
  • Experience developing requirements for MS Power Suite applications, PowerApps, PowerBI and SharePoint
  • Experience developing requirements for AI applications, particularly large language models (LLM)

Education

BA/BS degree in Accounting, Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, or another relevant technical or business field, or equivalent relevant experience.
