Your role and responsibilities
As a Project Manager for Cloud Solutions, you will oversee the successful delivery of cloud-based solutions to clients, managing project scope, cost, schedule, and deliverables to ensure alignment with service orders or contracts. You will employ project management techniques such as the Garage Method for Cloud, Design Thinking, and Agile Delivery Model to drive solution delivery.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
• Lead Delivery Team: Manage and guide the delivery team to ensure successful project execution, interfacing with client project managers and stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and effective communication.
• Manage Project Scope: Oversee project scope, cost, schedule, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with service orders or contracts and making adjustments as needed to meet client requirements.
• Employ Project Management Techniques: Apply project management techniques such as the Garage Method for Cloud, Design Thinking, and Agile Delivery Model to drive solution delivery and ensure best practices.
• Ensure Technical Alignment: Collaborate with technical teams to ensure alignment with cloud technologies, including cloud migration, continuous modernization, and coexistence architecture.
• Interface with Clients: Serve as a primary point of contact for client project managers and stakeholders, providing regular updates and ensuring client satisfaction with project delivery.
This position can be performed from anywhere in the USA.
Required education
Bachelor's Degree
Required technical and professional expertise
• Cloud Migration Experience: Experience with cloud migration, continuous modernization, coexistence architecture, refactoring, containerization, APIs, Microservices, and Kubernetes, with a strong understanding of application components, including System of Engagement (SOE), System of Insight (SOI), System of Integration (SOI), and System of Records (SOR).
• Cloud Platform Delivery: Hands-on experience in project delivery on at least one major cloud platform, such as IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure, Red Hat OpenShift, or Google Cloud Platform, with a deep understanding of cloud technologies and project management best practices.
• Project Management Techniques: Experience with project management techniques such as the Garage Method for Cloud, Design Thinking, and Agile Delivery Model, with the ability to apply these techniques to drive solution delivery and ensure best practices.
• Technical Leadership: Experience leading delivery teams and interfacing with client project managers and stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and effective communication.
• Cloud Technology Understanding: Experience with cloud technologies, including a strong understanding of cloud architecture, migration, and modernization, with the ability to collaborate with technical teams to ensure alignment with cloud technologies.
Preferred technical and professional experience
• Cloud Architecture Knowledge: Experience with cloud architecture, including design principles, security, and scalability, with the ability to apply this knowledge to drive solution delivery and ensure best practices.
• Multi-Cloud Experience: Hands-on experience with multiple cloud platforms, including IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure, Red Hat OpenShift, or Google Cloud Platform, with a deep understanding of cloud technologies and project management best practices.
• Advanced Project Management: Experience with advanced project management techniques, including hybrid Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with the ability to apply these techniques to drive solution delivery and ensure best practices.

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
