Full Job Description
Summary

Balfour Beatty is seeking a Project Manager for a renovation and expansion of two historic buildings in Washington DC to manage the low voltage scopes of work, primarily Security and Audio Visual of the full interior buildout of both buildings. The Project Manager will assist in the overall direction, completion, and financial outcome of this construction project. In this position, the incumbent directs and supervises activities related to contract administration, change orders, submittals, procurement, project financial projections, and schedule requirements associated with the low voltage scopes of work to ensure the project is completed with quality, profitable, adhering to our Safety/Zero Harm culture.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Ten years or more of commercial construction experience
  • Five years or more of direct supervisory experience related to subcontractor management.
  • Experience with project manager software (Procore, P6, Bluebeam, etc.)
  • Experience with Change order administration.
  • Must be capable of reading, writing, and conversing fluently in the English language
  • Project Management Experience


Preferred Requirements

  • Experience with BIM tools and lean construction practices.
  • Federal Experience helpful but not required
  • OSHA 30
  • Capable of conversing fluently in the Spanish language
  • Project Management Experience with a focus on low voltage work.


Pay Rate: $130,000-145,000.*

*This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable.
