Project Manager, Aviation Your work environment at EXPIn this role, you will be a part of the Aviation Design team based in Dallas or Houston, TX. The projects will be with major airports across the United States.
What a day at EXP has in store for youLead design efforts in some or all of the following areas:
- Airfield geometry
- Airfield pavement design
- Airfield lighting and signage
- Utility installation and relocation
- Construction phasing
- Airport access roads and security facilities
- Landside transportation facilities
- Prepare contract documents, specifications, reports, and detailed cost estimates
- Construction administration
Assist with aviation group project management and business development:
- Lead meetings and team members
- Mentor team members
- Project proposals
- Technical reports, presentations and client communications
- Task delivery, budget management and quality control
- Supervise the work of junior team members
- Make a positive contribution to the overall team culture and environment
What your experience looks like- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- Licensed Professional Engineer
- 10+ years of experience
- 7+ years of experience with aviation/Airfield related projects
- Solid client relations and business development experience (preferred)
- Proven Project Manager
- Proficient in MS Office, PowerPoint, MSProject and InDesign. Photoshop & Illustrator a plus.
- Deep knowledge of the regional market, drivers and trends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write persuasively.
- Experience with governmental forms required for proposal submissions.
- Must display strong interpersonal skills and resourcefulness in accomplishing the firm's internal and external marketing objectives.
- Must be a strategic thinker.
- Must have the ability to travel 20% of the time.
The pay range for this role is $100,000 to $150,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.
