About the Role

As an Engineering Project Manager, you will lead the development of our next-generation professional audio products, guiding cross-functional teams from business cases through production. You will manage programs in a hands-on, global environment, with project timelines typically ranging from 10 to 24 months, and you will oversee one to four projects simultaneously. Our Professional Solutions organization manages a portfolio of 30+ projects annually, giving you the opportunity to shape how products are developed and brought to market. In this role, you will strengthen internal processes by building strong partnerships, managing budgets and schedules, and driving teams to hit critical delivery milestones.

What You Will Do
  • Lead end-to-end program management by driving programs from initiation through sustaining, defining milestones, assessing risks, supporting resource planning, and ensuring successful on-time, on-budget launches.
  • Build and manage detailed program schedules using MS Project, including WBS development, resource allocation, and critical path analysis to maintain timeline integrity and adjust plans proactively.
  • Facilitate strong cross-functional collaboration by working closely with engineering, supply chain, operations, manufacturing, product management, and marketing to resolve issues and accelerate decision-making.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks through structured problem solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution strategies that maintain team alignment and program momentum.
  • Provide clear and transparent communication to leadership through concise reporting on KPIs, risks, mitigation plans, and change management activities.
  • Regularly visit our internal manufacturing facilities to enhance new build processes and ensure the production of a high-quality product.
  • Conduct and lead structured program meetings by preparing agendas, documenting discussions, and driving RAIL (Rolling Action Item List) closures to enforce accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate development activities across hardware, firmware, software, operations, and manufacturing to ensure aligned workflows and resolve cross-functional dependencies quickly.
  • Maintain robust program documentation and configuration management by overseeing document control, enforcing engineering change processes, and ensuring consistent version integrity.
  • Prepare and manage program budgets, including prototypes, samples, and external services, while tracking financial performance to maintain alignment with organizational goals.


What You Need to Be Successful
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of project management experience supporting engineering teams-ideally in acoustic or technical product environments within a global company.
  • Hands-on experience with MS Project, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Strong understanding of engineering concepts and practices.
  • Deep knowledge of the full new product development lifecycle.
  • Analytical, proactive decision-making skills with strong problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to present to senior leadership.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.


Bonus Points if You Have
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering (EE or ME preferred) or equivalent experience
  • Professional Project Management certification (e.g., PMP).
  • Experience working with acoustic products.
  • Deep understanding of PCBA fabrication, readiness, and component lead time management.
  • Strong attention to detail and rigor in PLM BOM creation, maintenance, and engineering change control.
