Full Job Description
Your role
As a Project Manager, your mission is to effectively manage engineered to order centrifugal compressor projects and customer relationships to ensure the on-time delivery of solutions that meet customer requirements, while fostering a collaborative and profitable partnership between Atlas Copco and our customers. You will report to the Program Manager.

You will
  • Customer Satisfaction
    • Own customer satisfaction from point of sale through contractual shipment, partnering with the Commissioning Manager during commissioning.
    • Serve as the primary customer interface, ensuring clear, consistent communication.
    • Proactively engage customers and internal teams to identify and address adjustments.
    • Manage commercial discussions to balance collaboration, profitability, and customer needs.
    • Identify and resolve bottlenecks, manage escalations, and balance business priorities with technical constraints.
  • Project Management
    • Apply and promote core project management principles.
    • Proactively remove project roadblocks and identify systemic improvement opportunities.
    • Continuously develop communication, collaboration, and influencing skills.
  • Project Success
    • Deliver profitable projects that remain on schedule and aligned with original scope.
    • Monitor budget vs. actuals and ensure timely internal feedback and corrective action.
    • Manage scope changes, including customer requests and change orders.
    • Lead negotiations as needed to protect company margins while maintaining strong customer relationships.

You have at least 3 years of experience, working in a project management role or equivalent work experience.

  • Working knowledge of MS Office, including MS Projects.
  • Ability to work cross collaboratively to resolve issues, improve processes, and keeps projects moving on schedule.
  • Ability to effectively manage contract changes and negotiations without compromising customer relationships.

  • Willingness to travel up to 15% to support our customers.
