  • Award scopes of work promptly, ensuring inclusivity of taxes and insurance
  • Draft all-encompassing subcontracts covering payment terms and safety requirements
  • Coordinate and prepare submittals and purchase orders
  • Manage change orders and maintain the Change Order Log
  • Attend kick-off meetings with Field Supervisor to discuss job specifics
  • Procure materials and monitor lead times
  • Ensure consistent communication with customers, vendors, and subcontractors

Job Summary

As a Project Manager, you will plan and supervise projects from start to finish. The project manager coordinates all aspects of the project from purchasing materials to overseeing the installation timelines and ensuring the project is completed on time and efficiently to create an exceptional and enjoyable experience for our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Award all scopes of work on a timely basis, ensuring that each scope is all-inclusive including taxes and insurance
  • Draft subcontracts to be thorough, complete, and all-inclusive i.e. payment terms, safety policies or requirements, insurance requirements, etc.
  • Coordinate preparation of submittals
  • Coordinate the preparation of PO's
  • Write change orders and update Change Order Log
  • Attend kick-off meeting with Field Supervisor to discuss the job and products
  • Procurement of materials and track lead times
  • Attend job site meetings as required
  • Coordination with subcontractors
  • Order hardware required for installation
  • Provide Field Supervisor with installation instructions and hardware needed for all products
  • Provide consistent communication and follow-up with customers, vendors, and subcontractors
  • Analyze Cost Reports


Qualifications
  • College Degree and/or minimum of five years field supervisory experience required
  • Demonstrated supervisory skills
  • Basic building construction knowledge preferred experience in commercial HVAC & Plumbing.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, plus a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is required
  • Experience with estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, Onscreen Takeoff, etc.)
  • Valid CT Drive's License.

Pay Range: Salary $100K - $125K.
