Full Job Description
Project Manager - Architecture

Are you an experienced A/E professional who thrives on leading projects, building client relationships, and bringing teams together to deliver successful outcomes? Thompson & Litton is seeking a Project Manager - Architecture with an architectural background to oversee projects from kickoff through completion by mastering communication, coordination, schedules, budgets, and client expectations.

In this role, you will be the bridge between design vision and real-world execution-leading cross-functional project teams, managing high-stakes client relationships, and ensuring multidisciplinary project success across all phases of delivery.

Role Focus: This is a true project management position-not a design role. While an architectural background is essential, this position focuses on leading projects, managing clients, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and delivering successful outcomes-not producing drawings or performing day-to-day CAD/Revit design work.
What We Offer

At Thompson & Litton, we believe great people deserve great benefits. We offer competitive compensation along with a robust benefits package designed to support your health, financial future, and professional growth, including:
  • Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) - build long-term wealth through company ownership
  • Three comprehensive health insurance plan options
  • 401(k) with employer match
  • 15 days of paid vacation annually + 10 paid holidays
  • Group and voluntary life insurance
  • Professional development and continuing education assistance
  • And much more!
The Impact You'll Make
  • Project Delivery & Execution: Manage architectural and multidisciplinary A/E projects through all phases, taking full oversight of project scope, schedules, budgets, contracts, and deliverables.
  • Strategic Client Leadership: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining open lines of communication, aligning expectations, and fostering long-term relationships.
  • Multidisciplinary Coordination: Work seamlessly across disciplines, coordinating architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors to keep projects moving efficiently and successfully.
  • Problem Solving & Performance: Monitor project performance, proactively identify challenges, facilitate solutions, and drive successful project and financial outcomes.
What You'll Need to Succeed
  • Experience: 8-10+ years of proven project management experience within the architecture, engineering, or construction (A/E/C) industry.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Core Skills: Exceptional communication, organization, leadership, and client relationship management skills, with demonstrated success managing project schedules, budgets, contracts, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Preferred Credentials: PMP, LEED AP, Registered Architect (RA), or other industry-recognized certifications are highly valued.

If you're an experienced architecture professional who enjoys leading people as much as projects and is ready to focus on client relationships, project leadership, and successful delivery rather than day-to-day design production, we invite you to build your future with Thompson & Litton.
