The Project Manager will coordinate architects, engineers, consultants, and other project stakeholders to keep multidisciplinary teams aligned and projects moving efficiently.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in architecture, engineering, or multidisciplinary design project management and is comfortable taking ownership of projects, identifying issues early, driving accountability, and communicating directly with clients.

Responsibilities
  • Lead architecture and engineering projects from kickoff through design, permitting, construction, and final delivery.
  • Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, deliverables, milestones, and client communication.
  • Lead and coordinate architects, engineers, consultants, and other project team members throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Establish priorities and ensure project teams remain aligned with schedules, budgets, and client objectives.
  • Monitor project progress and follow up on outstanding deliverables to maintain schedule performance.
  • Identify scope gaps, coordination issues, design conflicts, and project risks early.
  • Work with multidisciplinary teams to resolve design and scope issues before they affect schedule, budget, or quality.
  • Manage workflows across architectural, engineering, permitting, and construction phases.
  • Communicate directly with clients, provide project updates, address concerns, and manage expectations.
  • Coordinate design reviews, project milestones, permitting requirements, and construction-phase activities.
  • Monitor project requirements and deliverables to ensure alignment with contracts, client expectations, and project goals.
  • Maintain organized project documentation and provide regular status updates to company leadership.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience managing architecture, engineering, or design projects from kickoff through permitting and construction.
  • Experience working within an architecture, engineering, or multidisciplinary professional design firm.
  • Demonstrated ownership of project scope, schedule, budget, deliverables, and client relationships.
  • Proven experience leading architects, engineers, consultants, and multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Strong understanding of design workflows, permitting processes, construction documentation, and construction-phase coordination.
  • Ability to identify scope conflicts, resolve project issues, and keep teams aligned with deadlines.
  • Strong client-facing communication and relationship-management skills.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and project leadership abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and milestones simultaneously.
  • Direct project management and project delivery experience is required. Candidates whose experience is primarily project coordination or administrative support will not meet the requirements for this position.

Benefits
  • Competitive salary based on experience.
  • Health insurance options.
  • Retirement plan options.
  • Paid time off and company holidays.
  • Professional development and continuing education opportunities.
  • Opportunity to lead diverse architecture and engineering projects.
  • Collaborative, multidisciplinary professional environment.
  • Long-term career growth and advancement opportunities.
